Star Villa

Star Villa helped book shuttle bus to n from HSR station so it’s really easy to come this amazing place. They helped arrange free pick up for our nice hot pot dinner at nearby restaurant. Stargazing at 8.30pm was amazing with great commentry. Fortunate to have clear sky full of stars. Scenery of surrounding mountain fm our balcony was awesome, we watch sunset from our room. You can walk down the slope along the side of road to a few eateries, 7-11 or Swiss garden etc. You can turn left when u reach the main road n walk up the slope in the other direction to Carton King which also has a restaurant, this is also the foot n entrance of the sky walk. If walking up skywalk is hard, u can ask hotel staff to help book a transport to the start of Cingjing farm entrance n walk down the slope, also has entrance to skywalk , I did that because is easier for my elderly mother. U can try catch the thrilling Horsemanship Show by Mongolian riders after visiting the Cingjing farm. Staff at StarVilla are professional, very helpful and friendly. Thank you staff of Star Villa for making such wonderful n welcoming experience for my family. Hope to come again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave really clear directions to all the attractions upon arrival, were able to help me sign up for the sunrise tour and answered my inquiries when my own transport arrangements fell through. Location is great. Conveniently located not too far from the bus stop, close to a few small family-run restaurants and just around the entrance to Qingjing Skywalk. If you don't drive, they also have an arrangement with a couple of restaurants to pick up and drop you back at the villa after dinner. Facilities are pretty good. Although there's no air conditioning, it was still pretty chilly on the day that I visited even though it was summer, so the fan was more than enough. You do get some bugs, but considering the proximity to the mountain, it's fairly unavoidable. Also, the view is brilliant! If you get a chance, do join the stargazing session (conducted in Mandarin) with the owner on the rooftop. It's a lovely experience when the sky is clear enough.

The location was amazing being perched on the sunset side of Qingjing where we had a wonderful view of the sea of clouds. Our room also had sentimental touches that will stay with us - such as the glow in the dark stargazing ceiling (we were in the Saturn room), the heated mattress and floors, and the lovely east facing balcony. We will come back.

The view is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perched on a hill and out from my bedroom window, I can see the sunset amidst the clouds, and layers upon layers of clouds at dawn. Star gazing is conducted at night with the very knowledgeable 许先生, who introduced to his guests the different stars that make up the night sky and even recommended an app for us to try out. Oh, he even loaned binoculars for star gazing! Breakfast is a simple affair with some local dishes and bread, but definitely healthy. What made the hotel special is the hospitality of 许先生 and his parents, who made us feel like family with their warmth, recommended restaurants and scenic spots, and even helped us reheat our leftover food. A big thank you to them for a very memorable stay.

The room is very spacious, very clean, very comfortable for family with young kid. We even get to see sunset and star in the comfort of our balcony! The food variety is acceptable. Porridge, condiments, bao, bread, nuggets, ham, bacon. Staff service is wonderful! very friendly and helpful. If you need dinner, the villa has partnership with 2 restaurants which can areange for transport to pick and fetch from the villa.
